Procedures During Typhoon Signal No. 8 and Black Rainstorm Warning

If the Hong Kong Observatory issues Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, school lunch service will be suspended based on the school’s instructions.

For days when the service is suspended, the lunch fee will be automatically refunded in the following month.

Updates regarding service resumption and additional announcements will be posted on this portal.

Next Month’s Menu Release

The menu for the following month is released around the 15th of each month.

Four options—A / B / C / D—are available each day, offering a well-balanced selection of meals.

Once released, menus can be viewed on the portal under “View Menu.”

Our nutrition team and development staff select several recommended dishes for the month.

Featured items include seasonal dishes and meals especially popular among students.

Please use these recommendations as a reference when selecting menus.

Safety and Allergy Information

About GH’s Food Safety Management System

All meals are prepared under the supervision of Japanese management, following both Hong Kong’s hygiene standards and Japanese-style quality control.

From ingredient receiving to cooking, packing, and delivery, operations follow a strict hygiene checklist to ensure that every meal delivered is safe and reliable for your child.

About the Thermal Delivery Boxes

We use dedicated heated delivery boxes that maintain an internal temperature of approximately 65–70°C.

Meals are kept warm immediately after cooking and delivered to the school in safe condition aligned with the lunch schedule.

Temperature checks are recorded regularly in accordance with food safety standards.

FAQ

Q1. What happens if my child is late or absent? Can I get a refund?

A: Refunds are not available for same-day cancellations or absences within the same week.

However, if your child requires a long-term absence due to illness or other valid reasons, you may request a refund at least one week in advance.

Refunds will be applied as a deduction from the following month’s invoice (no cash refunds).

Q2. How does the lunch service handle allergies?

A: We provide allergen information for the 9 major allergens, but we do not offer special requests such as removing individual ingredients.

All meals are prepared in the same kitchen, so parents must make the final decision based on their own judgment.

Q3. What happens if my child forgets chopsticks or cutlery?

A: The school will keep 10 sets of cutlery provided by us, and these will be lent to children who forget their utensils.

Q4. What is the emergency contact number?

A: Please contact GH Customer Service via WhatsApp or phone at 6075-0158.

Phone support hours: 13:00–17:00

Outside these hours, please send a WhatsApp message.

Q5. What payment methods are accepted?

A: Payments are accepted via FPS bank transfer only.

After making the transfer, please upload a screenshot through the ordering system as instructed.

Q6. How are refunds processed?

A: Refunds are always applied as a deduction from the following month’s invoice.

Cash refunds are not provided.

Q7. When are the lunches delivered, and where are they stored?

A: Lunches are delivered to the school by 12:00 noon.

They will be stored in the school’s designated area with secured power access, as coordinated with the school.

Q8. Is the lunch container microwave-safe?

A: The lunch box is made of paper.

 We do not recommend microwaving the container directly.

If heating is necessary, please transfer the food to a microwave-safe dish.

User Manual

Registering Account and Children

  • Register via google login or manually sign up for an account on the website. Make sure to add your contact number.

  • After signing-up for the first time, go to your account corner to register your children. Make sure to add the correct class code EXACTLY (ex. "JS-P1-1", "JS-P5-G") for each of your children (this is to ensure you are looking at the correct menu for their class) and click save.

  • Full list of the class code can be found below.

How to Order

  • You can navigate to the calendar order page via the button above "Order Now" or via the navigation menu on the top right and click calendar.

  • On the calendar, select the specific student you want to order for, different classes have different menu dates set.

  • After selecting the student, click on any date that is currently highlighted by the calendar (non highlighted dates indicate no class or outside the scope). This will give a pop-up menu for that date and select the menu set that you want.

  • If you have finalized your order for the month, click the submit button to save and lock in the order (you can edit the order anytime as long as payment has not been made yet).

Payment Processing

  • You can access the payment menu via the "Payment" button on this page and the calendar page, or via the navigation menu on the top right.

  • Select the student you want to pay for and scan the QR code. After paying via your FPS app, take a screenshot of the transaction and upload the file.

  • After uploading and submitting, you will receive an email of your order summary (it will send it to the email you used to register).

  • You will receive another email once the transaction has been completed on our end.
